Oh, we both just know that that railing wanted to be painted anyway. And the new glazing makes me relatively certain that the windows didn't have their original glass - what a great opportunity to replace them with period glass. And the front door, well, decent doors are a dime a dozen - though great ones, of course, cost a small fortune.
